Ulvheim bridge house terrain puts an inhabited building above a route through your medieval settlement. Two substantial dressed stone pillars support a rounded arch, leaving a passage below, while a timber-framed dwelling occupies the upper section. Windows with diamond latticework connect its appearance with the surrounding Gothic architecture.

Three dormers and decorative ridge finials articulate the pitched tiled roof. Within the upper house, textured floors and openings connect the spaces, giving this unusual building an interior as well as a distinctive silhouette. It can suggest an inhabited bridge, a toll house or a fortified route where movement through the settlement becomes the focus of an encounter.

Removable sections and roof pieces expose the interior for play. Miniatures can occupy the lower passage and the dwelling above, making the relationship between those levels central to a scenario. You might stage a defence of the route or a meeting that takes place over the heads of passing travellers. Decide how access and lines of sight work before bringing those possibilities into your rules.

Made in PLA+, the model is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Separate treatments for the stone supports and upper timberwork will emphasise the structure’s unusual arrangement. The dormers, finials and lattice windows offer smaller details to pick out once the main colours establish its place within your village.
