Returns, Withdrawal and Legal Guarantee

Statutory right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase of products to which this right applies within 14 calendar days of receiving them, without giving a reason. Where items from the same order are delivered separately, the period is calculated in accordance with the rules applicable to that delivery.

To exercise this right, clearly communicate your decision to info@terraintop.com or to the return address above. You may use the model form at the end of this policy, but this is not compulsory. You do not need our prior approval for your decision to take effect if you have validly communicated it.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after communicating your withdrawal. Sending them within that period is sufficient. Pack them appropriately to prevent damage during the return journey.

The buyer bears the direct costs of a return following withdrawal, provided this was disclosed before the contract was concluded. This rule does not apply to costs TerrainTop must bear because of a defect, delivery error or lack of conformity. Where a product cannot normally be returned by post, we will disclose the return cost, or an estimate where legally required, before the contract is concluded.

You may examine the product as you would to establish its characteristics and functioning. You are only responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that examination, under the conditions laid down by law. Keeping the original packaging intact is not an absolute requirement for exercising the right of withdrawal.

Refunds

Following withdrawal, we will refund the applicable payments, including the order’s standard delivery costs where appropriate. We will not refund the additional cost of choosing a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard option offered.

The refund will be made without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of learning of your decision, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first, unless we offer to collect them.

For a partial return, the relevant amounts will be calculated in accordance with the law and the purchase terms, without arbitrary deductions.

Made-to-order production

Our products are manufactured after we receive the order, in premium PLA and using the available catalogue options. We do not provide individual customisation.

Made-to-order production or the selection of a standard catalogue scale does not remove the statutory right of withdrawal. Neither affects your rights in the event of defects or lack of conformity.

Period applicable to each purchase

For purchases covered by this version, we do not offer an additional commercial extension beyond the statutory 14-calendar-day withdrawal period. Rights relating to the legal guarantee, lack of conformity or breach of contract retain their own time limits and are not restricted to those 14 days.

If you purchased under earlier terms offering a longer period, the period applicable to your order will be honoured. This version takes effect on 25 October 2026.

Incorrect, damaged or defective products

If you receive the wrong item, a damaged item or an item that does not match its advertised description, contact info@terraintop.com. We will review the issue and explain how to proceed. Where there is a lack of conformity, we will bear the necessary costs of the applicable legal remedy, including transport costs where appropriate.

You do not have to purchase additional insurance or pay an administration charge to retain your guarantee rights. Nor are you required to report damage within a short period that replaces the statutory time limits.

Legal guarantee

New products sold to consumers are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity. We are liable for a lack of conformity existing at delivery that becomes apparent within three years of delivery, under the applicable legal provisions.

Where applicable, you may request that the goods be brought into conformity through repair or replacement and, in the circumstances provided for by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract. The remedy will be free of charge where covered by the legal guarantee. Damage caused exclusively by improper use or unrelated modifications does not in itself constitute a lack of conformity attributable to the seller; each case will be assessed without generally excluding your rights.
