Sundered Heartwood Tree

Sundered Heartwood Tree terrain from the Place of Power series. Represent a place of power within a fantasy woodland or a remote enclave. Make it an expedition’s destination, a meeting point or a location for players to protect during a campaign mission.

Combine the tree with terrain and buildings you already use. Open areas between pieces help define routes and keep the table accessible during play. Change its position between encounters to represent different places, or keep it as a recognisable reference linked to campaign characters and events. Agree its role and the effects of movement, cover and visibility using your chosen rules. It can also anchor a themed diorama.

When preparing the scenario, leave room to place miniatures and reach the areas used during play. Agree movement, cover and line-of-sight rules according to your chosen game system. Changing the position of terrain between sessions offers different situations while retaining the table’s theme. Give this piece a central role in a mission or incorporate it into the environment surrounding the characters. Combine it with other terrain from your collection to connect this location with a wider setting.

The default scale is 28 mm, with other options in the selector to suit your collection. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A shared colour scheme, highlights and shading help it blend with other terrain. Weathering can reinforce the atmosphere you choose. The catalogue images show presentation examples; the painted finish is yours to decide. The model can also form part of a miniature diorama.
