Ruined circular portal represents the remains of an ancient access point within a fantasy landscape. The Ruined Portal model can stand among other remains, beside a route or in a clearing where its presence raises questions about the place’s past. Its recorded dimensions are 139 × 105 × 95 mm.

The gateway’s history can become part of the adventure without prescribing what it does. It might be the destination of an expedition, a site characters need to investigate or the setting for a meeting. Whether the portal retains a function, has lost its purpose or has been misunderstood by later visitors is a decision for your campaign.

Consider how the surrounding scenery directs attention towards the location. An open approach presents the portal as a clear destination, while neighbouring ruins can suggest a larger complex that once explained it. Leave room for the miniatures used in the encounter and establish movement and visibility under the chosen rules; the model does not supply a teleportation mechanic.

The default scale is 28 mm, with other options available in the selector. Delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the portal can take the palette of your existing ruins or a contrasting finish that emphasises its importance. Weathering and controlled highlights can connect the ancient theme with the particular landscape you are creating.
