Sixteen piece modular river terrain lets a fantasy watercourse become part of the layout rather than a fixed line across the table. The set contains nine straight sections, four curves, one intersection, one ford and one bridge. Those different elements provide both the route of the river and recognisable places where the story can cross it.

Start by deciding how the water relates to your existing landscape. A river running between settlements creates a different journey from a stream near a single encounter location. Straight sections and curves establish the course, while the intersection can introduce another branch into the scene.

The ford and bridge can become destinations during an adventure, or simply explain how people travel through the area. Arrange them where their approaches make sense, keeping the miniature positions used by players reachable. Your chosen rules determine crossing, movement and any effects on cover or sightlines; the scenic layout supplies the visible setting.

The pieces are supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A consistent treatment for the represented water can connect separate sections, with shoreline colours drawn from the surrounding ground. Shading and highlights can distinguish the crossings from the river course. Changing the arrangement between games allows the same sixteen pieces to represent another part of the campaign landscape without abandoning the waterway theme.
