Odingard Viking house 2 terrain adds another carved-timber residence to a northern village. Arched entrances and shield decorations break up the façade, while a slate-style pitched roof ends in crossed beams that make the house’s Nordic identity clear from across the table.

The modular construction opens into separate sections for access to the interior. Its main entrance leads to an open space for miniatures, with an upper window and roof openings providing further architectural detail. Consider those features as parts of the dwelling rather than assuming that every sloping roof surface has a fixed role in play.

Within a campaign, this home can belong to a different household from the other Odingard references while keeping the settlement’s appearance consistent. A shared yard, path or open gathering area can explain how the houses relate to one another. Determine miniature access and any effects on movement, cover or lines of sight through the game rules agreed before the encounter.

The piece is delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Subtle variations among wooden boards can give the walls depth, while a different treatment of the shields helps distinguish the household. Darker shading below the eaves and lighter tile edges define the roof. Selected weathering can connect the building with the climate and condition you imagine for the wider northern settlement.
