Briarwood ruined house 4 terrain retains several rooms within a damaged medieval building, giving the ruin more than a single open space. Stone walls, timber structure, broken roofs and scattered remains describe a house that has lost much of its enclosure while keeping part of its original arrangement.

The two storeys can be separated for access during play. That makes the rooms usable for miniatures without requiring the entire building to be lifted from the table. Open and partly destroyed walls help players see figures within the structure, while the remaining partitions give individual areas a recognisable identity.

In a 28 mm fantasy setting, the house can stand along a devastated street or form the edge of a small square. One room might become the place an expedition is searching, while another marks a route through the ruin; these are scenario choices rather than rules supplied with the model. Combine it with buildings in other states of repair to show how damage varies across a settlement.

The ruin is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Different timber tones can separate exposed beams from nearby stonework, and a muted roof palette will connect the surviving tiles with the fallen areas. Shading around broken wall edges can strengthen the impression of depth. Resolve access, elevated positions and any cover provided by the rooms according to the system you play.
