Medieval jetties and bridges terrain from the DungeonSticks range lets you plan a scene around routes beside and across the water. The set brings together sections with planks, posts and connecting pieces, giving your harbour area a language of walkways and landing places.

The photographs show both the separate elements and examples of their arrangement. Study those views when deciding where a route should begin, which landing stages it should connect and where you want open space around the scenery. The main image keeps the set on a simple background so that the pieces themselves remain easy to see.

A waterside encounter can revolve around reaching the far end of a jetty, meeting someone at the harbour or following a path through an unfamiliar port. Rearranging the sections between games gives those locations different relationships without changing the overall nautical theme. Establish any rules for crossing, cover and access with the other players before the encounter begins.

Choose your scale to match the miniatures and scenery already on the table: 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm are offered, with 28 mm selected by default. The pieces are supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Timber colours, shadows between the planks and a finish that matches nearby buildings can bring the whole waterside layout together.
