Briarwood ruined shop 1 terrain shows a medieval trading building after its walls and roof have been partly destroyed. Exposed beams, damaged roofing and open sections retain the outline of a shop while revealing the spaces where miniatures can take part in an encounter.

Two storeys and connecting stairs introduce a vertical route through the ruin. The upper remains can look over a street, while the lower areas provide a different relationship with neighbouring buildings. Rather than assigning those positions a fixed tactical benefit, use the actual openings and your rules system to establish how the scene works.

This building suits approximately 28 mm fantasy settings. It can stand on its own as a former trading post or join other Briarwood shops and houses to form a devastated commercial street. A search for goods left behind, a meeting in an abandoned room or an approach through the lower ruins can each give the building a different narrative role.

This model is delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Distinguish roof fragments from timber beams before introducing weathering across the damaged areas. Lighter broken masonry and darker interior recesses can make the depth of the ruin clear. Matching selected colours with intact buildings nearby will help the shop look like part of the same town, even though its condition tells a very different story.
