Spider House

Fantasy spider house terrain combines a small timber dwelling with the body and jointed-looking legs of a fantastic spider. The unusual composition gives the house a creature-like foundation rather than a conventional building base. It can become the home of a campaign character, a woodland encounter or the central subject of a diorama.

The main photograph presents the complete group, with other images showing the frontage, underside detail and additional views. A painted example distinguishes roof, walls and creature forms through contrasting colours and textures. Those references help you consider the design while leaving the final appearance to your own project.

Decide how the characters understand the house when they first see it. A known residence can feel different from an unexpected discovery in a forest. Establish its role through the campaign and determine movement, access and sightlines with your chosen rules. The represented jointed forms do not establish an operating articulation mechanism for the model.

The product is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, in 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm; 28 mm is the default. Different treatments for the timber building and spider body can clarify their relationship. Shadows below the house and highlights along the legs then define the layered silhouette, while woodland colours can connect the fantastic residence with its surroundings.
