Elven shrine of solace terrain introduces a place with a quieter purpose into a fantasy setting. The Shrine of Solace belongs to the Elves theme and can represent a destination for a pilgrimage, a meeting or an event that matters to the community. It can also form the centre of a diorama devoted to an elven location.

Decide how the shrine fits into the wider settlement before building the scene. A well-known place visited regularly has a different atmosphere from a remote destination reached after a long journey. Paths, neighbouring buildings and other terrain in your collection can express that relationship without needing to change the model’s basic identity.

The shrine can return during a campaign as a point of recognition, with the characters’ reasons for visiting developing over time. Establish the objectives for each encounter and leave the miniature areas involved easy to reach. Any effect on movement, views or cover follows your own chosen system rather than being attached automatically to the sacred theme.

Scale choices are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm as the default. The scenery arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A palette shared with nearby elven architecture can suggest belonging, while thoughtful differences in shading and weathering can distinguish a maintained place of solace from one that has become neglected.
