Briarwood shop 1 terrain gives a medieval settlement a commercial address rather than another anonymous dwelling. The two-storey building combines a stone lower section with timber framing above, continuing the visual language of the Briarwood collection while suggesting a property used for trade.

The main door is hinged, and the storeys separate so that miniatures can be positioned inside. Those features let an encounter begin at the entrance and continue through the building, whether the story concerns a visit to a trader, a search for missing goods or a dispute within the town. The model provides the rooms and access; the occupants and events remain part of your campaign.

The listed overall size is 203 mm wide, 147 mm deep and 190 mm high, for use with 28 mm and 32 mm miniatures. Its frontage can help define one side of a street or square, leaving nearby space for the routes and other scenery that make the trading district understandable.

Printed unpainted and ready to prime and paint, the shop has relief in its beams, roof tiles and masonry. Distinct treatments for those materials will clarify the architecture before smaller weathering effects are added. Consider how the upper storey relates to neighbouring roofs, then agree any rules for interiors and elevated positions with the other players.
