Briarwood ruined gatehouse terrain shows a fortified entrance after destruction has opened its defences. Two damaged two-storey buildings flank a central wall section and broken wooden gate. Stone walls with timber palisades extend the boundary on either side, creating the remains of a settlement entrance rather than a single isolated ruin.
Collapsed roofs expose the upper areas of the houses. Broken plank floors, fallen beams and damaged masonry give the standing sections a worn, interrupted outline. The open upper positions are accessible, allowing the buildings to remain part of an encounter when miniatures move beyond the threshold.
The modular walls can be rearranged into different approaches, narrow routes or broader defensive fronts. Designed around 28 mm miniatures, the set can suggest the outskirts of a besieged city or an abandoned checkpoint. Decide which gaps and elevated spaces your scenario will use, and establish movement and sightlines according to the rules at your table.
Delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the gatehouse provides contrasting stone, cracked brick and splintered timber textures. Treating the ruined gate differently from the palisades can make the main entrance stand out even among damaged sections. Soot, dust or moss in your finish can suggest the time since the siege, while a shared masonry palette connects the houses with their former defensive wall.
