Briarwood medieval ruins set brings together four damaged buildings from the Dark Realms collection: two shops, a forge and a house. Their broken roofs, stone walls and timber framing provide the foundations of a devastated commercial street rather than a group of unrelated ruins.
Fractured façades, exposed beams, chimneys and remaining paving give each structure a distinct outline. Open sections reveal the interiors, while stairs and surviving portions of floor introduce changes of height. Arrange the shops around a square with the forge nearby, or spread the buildings across the table to suggest separate corners of an abandoned settlement.
The mix of domestic and working buildings offers several narrative starting points. Characters might search the old shops, follow a route towards the forge or pass through the remains of the house on their way across town. In a skirmish, the same arrangement can define approaches to objectives and breaks between open ground. Establish the treatment of walls, openings and elevated areas through your own game rules.
The default scale is 28 mm, with other options available in the product selector. All four buildings are supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Keeping stone and timber colours related will connect the street, while different roof tones or areas of weathering can preserve the identity of each property. The separate textures also give washes and drybrushing clear architectural features to follow.
