Shadowfey Feywild cottage terrain gives a forest scene a small residential destination. The Feywild Cottage reference belongs to Shadowfey Wilds and can sit in a clearing, beside a path or within a modest settlement. Its role can begin with the question of who lives here and why travellers have come to the door.
A refuge discovered during a journey offers one beginning for an adventure. A deliberate visit to a mysterious inhabitant offers another, allowing the same cottage to support different stories without changing the woodland theme. Nearby terrain from your collection can explain whether the home is isolated or part of a community beyond the visible scene.
Consider the approaches that matter to the encounter and leave miniature positions reachable. Agree access, cover and visibility according to the rules you play, rather than attaching particular effects to the dwelling by default. Returning to the cottage in a campaign can gradually make its location and occupant familiar to the group.
The model is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Choose 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm, with 28 mm selected initially. A palette shared with the surrounding forest can make the cottage feel settled into its landscape. Different choices of shading and wear can then suggest a cared-for residence, an old retreat or a home whose story the characters have yet to discover.
