Hexengarde New Rose tavern gives a fantasy city a named gathering place in its intact form. This reference is distinct from the ruined tavern, allowing the same part of the setting to be represented before or apart from any destruction in your campaign. It can become a familiar location rather than an anonymous building.

A tavern can provide the beginning of a mission, the place a group returns to between journeys or the address where characters expect to find a contact. Naming that location makes its role clear even when the surrounding city is rearranged for a different encounter. The model supplies the setting while your story determines who is present.

Combine the building with other construction to place the New Rose on a street, beside a junction or at the edge of a public space. Plan the approaches and miniature positions relevant to the scene. Any access, cover or sightline effects should follow the selected rules, rather than the building’s social role implying a particular mechanic.

The default option is 28 mm, with alternatives available through the selector. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the tavern can share the colours of neighbouring Hexengarde properties. A distinct finish can make it easy to recognise as the New Rose without requiring the same table layout each time the campaign returns.
