Ulvheim stone cottage terrain gives a rural fantasy settlement a modest home with a distinctly Gothic character. Dressed stone blocks run across the walls, while a rounded doorway and small entrance step mark the front. Paired pointed windows break up the side elevations, adding finer architectural detail to the solid masonry.
Above the walls, a pitched roof carries overlapping tiles and a stone chimney at one side. Timber beneath the eaves introduces another texture to distinguish when painting. These features make the cottage useful as a villager’s home, a small workshop or a storehouse within a medieval street, depending on the story you give the building.
The roof lifts away completely to reveal the interior. That access lets you place miniatures inside for a search, an assault or a defence encounter rather than treating the cottage as a closed block of scenery. Plan the position of the doorway and windows within your layout, then decide how they affect movement and sightlines under your game’s rules.
Made in PLA+, the cottage is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A stone base colour followed by washes and drybrushing can bring out the individual blocks; a separate timber shade will help the eaves stand apart. Weathering around the entrance and chimney offers a way to give this particular home its own history.
