Siege battering ram terrain brings the prospect of an assault into a fantasy scene. The Battering Ram model can accompany an army camp, mark the equipment targeted by a raid or give a confrontation outside city walls a specific focus. It can also belong to a diorama that captures a moment before the defenders and attackers meet.

Think about who has brought the ram to the site and what they intend to do next. A party might be sent to protect it, discover where it is being prepared or reach it before the assault begins. Those choices connect the piece with the surrounding buildings, roads and camp terrain rather than leaving it as a disconnected accessory.

Its function during a game depends on the objectives and rules you establish. Plan the approach that matters to the encounter and keep the miniatures’ working areas reachable. You can return to the same engine in later sessions as the siege develops, changing its narrative importance without inventing special mechanics for the physical model.

Options include 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm selected initially. The ram is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Coordinate its colours with the force or camp that owns it, then use shadows, highlights and selective weathering to suggest how the equipment has been prepared and used within your own version of the siege.
