Post apocalyptic scrapyard terrain gives a settlement somewhere to recover, store and reuse the remnants of its world. The enclosure contains improvised-looking structures, containers, tyres and storage elements. Different roof shapes and represented materials give the site the appearance of a place developed around practical needs rather than a single uniform plan.
The main photograph presents the complete group with a weathered painted example. You can use it as a survivors’ workshop, a materials recovery area or a location within a post-apocalyptic campaign. The background landscape serves as presentation scenery and is not part of the product.
Decide what brings characters into the yard. An exchange of supplies, a search for something stored here or a return to a known workshop can each make use of the same setting. Plan which areas matter to that encounter and leave them accessible for miniatures. Cover and sightlines follow the rules you choose rather than being fixed by the theme alone.
The set comes unpainted, ready to prime and paint, with 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm options; 28 mm is the default. Contrasting colours can distinguish containers from buildings, while related rust, dust and grime effects will connect the mismatched surfaces. Picking out tyre and storage details can then reinforce the yard’s role within the wider settlement.
