OpenForge sphinx statue terrain introduces an ancient landmark into a miniature setting. The OpenForge Sphinx Statues reference can mark an entrance, accompany a temple approach or become the object that an expedition has been sent to find. The normal medium variant is recorded at 100 × 50 × 65 mm.
Decide what the statue means within the landscape before placing it. A monument beside a known route has a different place in the story from one rediscovered far from an inhabited settlement. Nearby buildings, paths and ground from your collection can explain whether the location remains in use or belongs to an older layer of the campaign world.
An investigation, a meeting or a search can each make the same landmark important. Leave the relevant miniature positions accessible to players and establish movement, cover and sightlines under the rules you use. Any ceremonial or magical significance comes from your scenario rather than an assumed effect of the physical model.
The default scale is 28 mm, with 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm offered too. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the statue allows a finish linked to the surrounding architecture. A shared stone palette can make it part of an ancient site, while shading and selective wear can suggest how long the monument has stood within your landscape.
