Log cabin with porch terrain gives a rural or western scene a home built around contrasting timber and stone forms. Log walls surround the building beneath a sloping roof, with a covered porch at the approach and a stone chimney rising beside it. The different elevations allow the cabin to be viewed as a complete residence rather than only a frontage.

The main photograph shows the whole building, while the gallery includes further views and images of its interior. It can stand beside a road, in a clearing or close to other timber structures from your collection. Miniatures and landscape used in the reference photographs are not included.

Decide who occupies the cabin and why the characters arrive. An isolated home can give an encounter a different atmosphere from the same building within an established settlement. Leave the miniature positions used in the scene accessible and determine movement, cover and sightlines through your chosen game’s rules.

Choose 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm, with 28 mm as the default. The cabin is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Darker joints between logs can define the walls, while a separate masonry treatment will distinguish the chimney. Weathering across the porch and lower walls can then connect the home with the surrounding ground and the life of its occupants.
