3 Bubbling Lava Pits

Lava pits for volcanic terrain. The set includes three lava pits in different sizes, with rocky edges and bubbling surfaces. The cover shows the three complete foreground models with an example paint scheme; the rest of the landscape is not included. The product data records 57 × 72 × 23 mm for the small pit, 105 × 92 × 27 mm for the medium pit and 118 × 141 × 28 mm for the large pit. Arrange them around a path, beside a temple or within a volcanic area. The textures let you contrast dark rock with the colours inside the pits when painting the models.

Before setting up a game, decide how the terrain will be used and leave enough space to move your miniatures. Reposition it between encounters and combine it with pieces from your existing collection. Cover, access points and other game effects depend on your chosen rules and what you agree with the other players. You can also reserve this feature for a recurring campaign location or include it in a diorama. Choosing colours that relate to nearby buildings helps keep your setting consistent when you change the layout of the scenario.

The default scale is 28 mm; 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm options are also available. Choose the scale that matches your miniatures and the rest of your gaming table. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Add shading, highlight the raised details and paint wear to connect it with your setting.
