Gloomwood elven nest terrain places a dwelling above a tree base, joining woodland and architecture in one outline. An elevated room sits beneath an elven-style roof, while a stairway winds around the trunk and visually connects the ground to the upper platform. The complete painted model is shown in the main photograph.

Other views reveal the silhouette and details of the design. You can place the nest in a fantasy woodland, an elven village or a more secluded enclave encountered during a campaign. Trees and additional landscape used in the reference scene are not included, so its surroundings can be developed from your own collection.

The route around the trunk can help explain how the residence belongs to the scene. Consider who lives here and why the characters have come: a familiar visit gives the same building a different atmosphere from an arrival at an unknown refuge. Determine any access and visibility effects through the rules you choose, with the relevant miniature areas left reachable.

Scales offered are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm selected by default. The nest arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Contrasting bark, architectural details and roof colours can clarify the elevated home, while related woodland tones will connect its tree base with the rest of the forest.
