Canopy trees for woodland wargaming terrain. This set includes five trees with twisted trunks and their canopies. Irregular branches, visible roots and different silhouettes create a small group of woodland terrain with varied shapes. The main image shows the complete contents, with the foliage separate so that both parts are visible. Catalogue photographs show painted examples; the product you receive is supplied unpainted. Choose natural colours for a green woodland or a more muted palette for a shadowy part of your tabletop.

Group the trees together to represent a wood or place them at different points across the battlefield. The combination of trunks and foliage provides scenery for fantasy games and roleplaying adventures, and helps fill the surroundings of roads, settlements or camps. Leave suitable spaces between pieces for moving your miniatures, and agree with the other players which terrain rules you will use. When painting, raised bark details offer areas for highlights while deeper grooves can hold darker shades. The canopies provide room for variations in green that distinguish each tree while keeping the group consistent. You can also match the bases to the finish used on the rest of your terrain. Refer to the photographs to plan the arrangement before setting up your next scenario.
