Briarwood crates barrels and firewood terrain adds the everyday contents of a working settlement to the spaces between buildings. Wooden boxes of different sizes, staved barrels and stacked logs provide a collection of separate accessories for yards, markets, stores and camps.
The surfaces distinguish the objects rather than treating them as plain blocks. Crate planks, splintered timber, metal barrel hoops and the grain of cut wood create smaller details to bring out with paint. Their low profiles can sit against a wall, beside a doorway or within an area used for loading and storage without becoming another large building on the table.
The set suits 28 mm and 32 mm miniature settings. Arrange the accessories according to the place you want to portray: a group of supplies can suggest a busy delivery area, while scattered containers can change the same yard into somewhere that has been disturbed. Any protection or obstruction they represent during play should follow your group’s rules.
These accessories arrive unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Varying the timber tones will keep the different objects distinct while a common wash can connect them with the surrounding district. Pick out barrel hoops separately and reserve lighter highlights for plank edges and log ends. Repositioning the pieces later allows the same collection to furnish a different corner of your medieval town.
