Arkenfel House 2

Arkenfel house 2 terrain centres its frontage on a broad covered porch supported by classical stone columns. Decorated capitals and a rounded wooden entrance give the lower level a formal appearance, while paired upper windows with central columns continue the architectural rhythm above.

The two-storey building uses dressed stone throughout its visual design. A tiled pitched roof and stone moulding along the upper side walls complete the outline, creating a restrained monumental style associated with Gondor-inspired settings. It can sit beside similar Arkenfel buildings to form a coherent district without requiring a particular game system.

The floors and roof separate for access to the interior. Detailed stone surfaces and open room spaces allow miniatures to occupy the building during a search, a meeting or a defence scenario. The design suits 28 mm and 32 mm miniatures. Position the porch so that its covered approach relates clearly to a road, square or adjoining courtyard, then establish any game effects within your chosen rules.

Delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the house gives the columns and arches clear forms to shade. Subtle variation between masonry blocks can prevent a broad stone palette from looking flat. Darker recesses around the paired windows and entrance will preserve depth, while restrained highlights on the capitals bring out their decoration without overwhelming the façade.
