Medieval siege tower terrain brings the preparations for an assault into view before the battle reaches the walls. A tall timber structure, reinforcing elements and platforms give this model the outline of equipment built for a fortified setting. The photograph presents the complete tower painted beside a fortification as an example of its use.

The tower can become the focus of the defending force, represent the attackers’ advance or form part of a campaign scene outside a city. Decide what stage of the siege your table depicts: the approach, a pause before an assault or an encounter around equipment that must be protected. Buildings and other background elements in the presentation are not included.

Plan its position in relation to your own walls rather than assuming a particular fit or height relationship. Leave room for the miniatures and areas involved in the scenario. Any movement, access or defensive effects should be established through your rules, with the model acting as the visible focus of the encounter.

The default scale is 28 mm; 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm are also offered. Your tower is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Different timber tones and shaded joints can emphasise the framework, while weathering can suggest whether this is newly prepared siege equipment or a machine that has survived a longer campaign.
