Consider what happened here before the characters arrived. The mill might have become a temporary shelter, a place to search for supplies or the agreed meeting point for a patrol. A campaign can return to the same building several times, allowing its significance to change as the story develops. Placing it near paths and neighbouring scenery helps connect those encounters with the wider landscape.

When arranging the table, keep the areas you intend to use accessible for miniatures. Decide movement, cover and sightlines according to your game rather than assuming the model supplies its own rules. It can be the centre of a mission or a quieter part of the surroundings through which the characters travel.

The default scale is 28 mm, with other sizes available in the selector. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the mill leaves the final atmosphere to you. A consistent palette can tie it to a nearby settlement, while weathering and carefully placed shadows can emphasise the story of a building that has fallen out of use.
