War Zone Tau trench terrain establishes a zigzag defensive route within a futuristic landscape. Reinforced walls, riveted details and arched forms give the structure an articulated outline, while a rocky base connects the built elements with the ground around them.

Internal steps and raised standing areas provide positions for miniatures within the line. The angular plan changes the relationship between adjacent sections instead of presenting one straight wall across the table. Modular construction allows the trench to be considered alongside other War Zone pieces when arranging a larger installation.

A scenario can use the trench as a route through a contested area, a boundary around an important location or part of a damaged military district. Decide which sections figures can occupy and how the walls affect movement or visibility under your chosen game rules. The physical layout provides the setting, while the rules determine any defensive benefit.

The model arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Distinguishing the rocky foundation from the constructed walls will clarify their relationship. Darker shading around steps and lower recesses can emphasise the internal positions, with restrained highlights along the upper edges keeping the zigzag shape readable. A related main colour can connect the trench with other T’au-themed terrain, while local weathering gives this particular line its own history of use.
