Its theme provides a reason for a mission to focus on one part of the landscape.

An encounter might involve a patrol identifying the position, a force defending a battery or characters securing the area before the next stage of a campaign. Those possibilities describe stories you can build around the model; they do not assign it a weapon profile or an automatic effect during play. Decide that role through the system you use.

Arrange nearby construction and terrain in relation to the emplacement rather than treating it as an unrelated object. Open approaches can make the position a clear destination, while surrounding features can suggest a larger military site. Keep the places needed for miniatures accessible and agree the treatment of cover, movement and sightlines before starting.

Available scales are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm as the default. The piece arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A finish drawn from your existing military terrain can connect the position with the rest of the base, while different weathering can distinguish an active emplacement from one that has been left behind.
