Ulvheim ruined buildings set provides twelve modular pieces for assembling the remains of medieval structures. Broken corners, partly collapsed walls, arched windows and irregular stone floors give the collection a shared architectural identity. The mixture of heights can suggest damaged houses, watchtowers or fragments of an older fortified site.
Rather than fixing the scene around one permanent building, the modules can be arranged in different relationships. A concentrated group can form the focus of a ruined district, while separated structures can spread the same history across more of the table. Changes in height and the distribution of openings help distinguish one configuration from another.
The set suits layouts using 28 mm and 32 mm miniatures. Decide which positions and approaches are part of your encounter, then establish access and sightlines through the rules being played. The modular form supports varied layouts without prescribing a fixed tactical advantage or requiring every piece to be used in the same way.
The set is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Washes in the cracks and drybrushing over worn stone can connect the twelve pieces through a common material finish. Different amounts of dust or staining can then distinguish individual building remains while preserving the impression that they belong to the same abandoned Ulvheim settlement.
