Sheriff’s Office and Jail

Sheriffs office and jail terrain gives a western town a building associated with law and confinement. The model combines an office with a jail area, while the front presents a covered porch, entrance steps and a sign. Additional views reveal the volume at the rear rather than limiting the reference to its street-facing façade.

Place it along a frontier street or make it the starting point of an adventure. A fictional rescue mission can give the jail a central role, while another encounter might begin with a meeting at the office. Nearby shops, homes and roads from your collection can explain the building’s place within the town.

Decide which approaches the scenario uses and what the characters know before they arrive. Keep the miniature areas involved accessible to players, and establish any effects on movement, cover and visibility according to the rules you play. Its civic role supplies narrative context rather than a prescribed set of mechanics.

The default choice is 28 mm, with 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm offered too. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the building can share colours with the rest of your western street. Contrasting the sign, porch and entrance details can make the office recognisable, while weathering helps connect its frontage with the ground and activity around it.
