Overlord 1944 ruined Normandy mansion terrain retains part of a rural residence beneath a damaged pitched roof. Collapsed sections expose timber beams and debris, while barred windows survive in varying conditions across the two-storey façade.
The ground floor keeps an entrance and an internal stair leading towards the upper level. Stone textures and carpentry details connect the surviving architecture with the broken areas, allowing the house to remain recognisable as a former home rather than an anonymous battlefield ruin.
Both hollow floors are accessible for miniatures. Place the mansion along a damaged village road, beside intact residences or as a particular destination within a historical scenario. The entrances and remaining spaces can help establish approaches, but movement, shelter and visibility should follow the rules your group has selected. Leave practical access to the interior when arranging other buildings nearby.
The piece is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A shared masonry palette across standing walls and fragments will hold the ruined building together visually. Darker recesses beneath the damaged roof can emphasise the exposed framework, while lighter broken edges pick out the destruction. Dust and staining can suggest the length of time since the damage, and selected surviving shutter colours can connect the ruin with other properties in the same Normandy settlement.
