Medieval shelving terrain brings storage and everyday detail to fantasy interiors. This set contains four shelving units with different arrangements of shelves and lower cupboards. The photographs show all four complete pieces printed unpainted, making their openings, doors and individual layouts easy to examine.

Think about the room before deciding where each unit belongs. Shelving against a tavern wall suggests a different setting from the same furniture in a library, a storeroom or a character’s home. The timber design can sit alongside other fantasy furnishings, allowing you to build an interior around the people who use it rather than leaving the room as an empty shell.

Panels, planks and shelf edges provide features to pick out with a brush. Varying the timber tones can distinguish the units, while a common finish will help them belong to the same building. The red reference miniatures in the images are not included. Position your own miniatures around the furniture with enough room for players to reach the areas used in an encounter.

The shelving is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Available scales are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm as the default. Choose the size that matches your interior collection, then give each room its own arrangement and character.
