Hagglethorn fantasy cottage terrain adds a home to the world of Hagglethorn Hollow. The Hagglethorn Cottage reference can belong to a miniature village, a character-focused adventure or a diorama. Its role can be as ordinary as a local address or as important as the first destination in a longer story.

A delivery to the cottage, a visit to an inhabitant or a meeting before a journey can each begin a different encounter. Place it beside roads and neighbouring buildings from your collection to explain how the residence belongs to the settlement. Those relationships can give the scene continuity when the campaign returns to the same village.

Decide which areas around the home the miniatures will use and keep them accessible to players. Movement, views and cover should follow the chosen rules, while the scenario provides the reason for the visit. You can change the surrounding arrangement between sessions without losing the cottage’s identity as a place the characters recognise.

The default option is 28 mm, with 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm offered as alternatives. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the cottage can share a palette with your other village terrain. Highlights and shadows will define its forms, while differences in weathering can distinguish this particular household from the homes nearby without breaking the settlement’s overall character.
