Emerita terraced ruin C retains enough of its pitched roof and chimney group to suggest the building that stood here before its collapse. Beneath that broken outline are two levels of Gothic architecture, with pointed arches, detailed windows and buttresses. Rubble interrupts the interior floors, setting surviving structural features against the spaces that have fallen away.

The stepped arrangement gives the ruin a recognisable shape without relying solely on tall walls. Its roof remnants and chimneys can form a visual link with intact buildings elsewhere in a settlement, while the damaged interior connects it to the more devastated areas of the table. Position those elements where they contribute to the story of the district you are building.

Open sections allow access to miniatures within the structure. A campaign could use the model as a former residence, a destination within an abandoned neighbourhood or a boundary between safer streets and a ruined quarter. Decide which areas are used in the encounter and how movement, sightlines and cover work under the chosen rules rather than assuming automatic advantages from its height.

Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the model invites a layered finish. Separate the roof tiles from the masonry, then shade around the chimney bases and shattered floors. Restrained highlights along the buttresses can preserve the Gothic rhythm even when the overall palette suggests dust, neglect and destruction.
