Emerita Gothic mansion ruin places a spired central tower above a substantial group of damaged architectural sections. Pointed arches, buttresses and detailed windows establish the building’s former grandeur, while the missing floors and broken walls reveal how much of it has been lost. The tower provides a recognisable landmark within the surrounding devastation.
Several surviving levels create a more complex interior than a simple wall fragment. Partly collapsed floors open into rubble-filled areas, and independent exterior pillars and arches extend the structure’s visual depth. At ground level, fallen beams and piles of stone reinforce the impression of a building that has come apart rather than one that has simply lost its roof.
This layout suits a ruined mansion at the centre of a dark fantasy town or an abandoned imperial district. It can be the place an expedition is trying to reach, a familiar landmark encountered from a new direction or the remains of an influential household. Keep access to the positions you intend to use practical for the players, and establish any elevated movement or sightlines through your own rules.
The model is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Treating the beams, rubble and standing stonework differently will make the collapse easier to read. Highlights on the tower and window surrounds can draw attention back to the architecture still standing above the wreckage.
