Domina Ferrum two storey ruin sets an upper platform above an open lower area. Decorated columns, pointed arches and tall windows connect the two heights, giving the damaged structure an imperial Gothic character. The openness of the lower space contrasts with the more defined platform above it.
Rose-window details, blind arches, carved panels and remnants of imperial furnishings add smaller features among the walls. These traces can suggest a building that once had a recognised purpose, even though the scenario is free to decide what that purpose was. The mix of architecture and remaining fittings gives a campaign location more context than a plain wall corner.
The structure separates into modular sections, with walls and platforms fitting together as the complete building. It can relate to other ruins when creating a broader complex or abandoned district. Decide how the encounter uses the lower area, openings and upper position, then resolve access and sightlines through the rules selected for the game.
The model is delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A darker treatment below the upper platform can define the space beneath, while lighter masonry edges keep the decorated columns readable. Picking out the furnishing remnants in a different tone can draw attention to the building’s former life without breaking the consistency of the surrounding Gothic architecture.
