Derelict petrol station terrain gives an abandoned road a destination with an everyday past. The Wasteworld Derelict Gas Station model can represent a former stopping place now encountered by travellers moving through neglected territory. Its theme works as a location for a miniature game or the starting point for a narrative diorama.

Decide what the characters expect to find here. A search for supplies creates one kind of visit, an arranged meeting another, while an exploration mission can turn the site into the first sign of an older settlement. Linking the petrol station with the roads and buildings of your own collection will give the stop a place within the wider landscape.

A campaign can revisit the same roadside landmark as its significance changes. Keep the areas used for the encounter accessible and establish any effects on cover, movement and views through your chosen rules. The model provides the setting; the objectives explain why the characters have come and what they need to do.

Available options are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm selected by default. The petrol station arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. A finish related to the surrounding road can root it in the terrain, while weathering choices can suggest how long this former service stop has stood without regular attention.
