Damochles industrial chimney tower places a large cylindrical structure above Gothic arches and grated platforms. A domed upper section includes ventilation detail and structural reinforcement, while an auxiliary tank and pipework add equipment around the main body. The combination gives the model the appearance of part of a larger factory complex.
Railings define the walkways near the base, making the change between structural support and working platform easy to read. Different sections of the tower can be separated. You can present the complete installation as a landmark or use its modular arrangement when deciding how it belongs within the rest of your industrial terrain.
Its narrative role might be a facility a patrol needs to inspect, the centre of an abandoned works or an important part of a defended installation. Decide which areas are relevant to the encounter and establish access, cover and sightlines with the other players. The model’s industrial purpose is a setting for your mission rather than an attached rules profile.
Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the tower offers broad cylindrical surfaces beside smaller rivets, grilles and pipes. A wash can define the recesses around that equipment, while drybrushing on the walkways brings out their texture. Different degrees of staining can distinguish the working surfaces from the more exposed dome and support arches.
