Crashed aircraft terrain spreads the remains of an aircraft across a science-fiction or post-apocalyptic landscape. The Wasteworld model includes fuselage sections, wings, a tail and engines, allowing the crash site to have several recognisable parts rather than one undifferentiated obstacle. The main photograph shows the wreckage together on the ground.
Arrange the pieces to suggest how the aircraft came to rest, or concentrate them around the point where a mission begins. A search for supplies, a rescue attempt or the arrival of competing groups can each give the site a different purpose. The wreckage can remain a campaign landmark even when the immediate objective changes.
Look at the spaces between the remains when planning the encounter. Those gaps can shape the approach to the important area while keeping miniatures accessible to the players. Agree what the separate pieces represent for cover, movement and sightlines under your system rather than assuming identical effects from every section.
The default scale is 28 mm, with 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm also offered. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the aircraft leaves its former identity to your colour choices. A related finish across the different sections can make them read as parts of the same machine, while dust and weathering connect the wreck with the surrounding terrain.
