Briarwood forge terrain gives a fantasy settlement a place of work among its homes and shops. An open frontage supported by timber pillars and arches forms a covered area at street level, with the forge set behind it. A large stone chimney rises through the tiled roof and makes the building’s purpose visible from outside.

The lower interior can accommodate miniatures, and the roof removes to make those positions easier to reach during play. The design provides two accessible levels. This arrangement lets the frontage and working area become part of the same encounter, whether characters are visiting a craftsperson or moving through an artisans’ quarter.

The listed overall dimensions are 175 mm wide, 173 mm deep and 135 mm high, for 28 mm and 32 mm miniature settings. Its relatively broad, lower shape can vary a street dominated by taller houses. Keep the covered approach visible within the layout so that its relationship to the forge remains clear to players.

Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the building offers stone, timber and roof textures to treat separately. Darker staining around the chimney can suggest long use, while worn beams can connect the workshop with the age of the town. Any protection or movement effects within the arcade remain a matter for your scenario and rules.
