Barrenfall ruined gallows terrain marks the remains of an old execution platform within a medieval or dark fantasy settlement. A raised wooden deck, a partly destroyed stairway and damaged upright posts preserve the shape of the structure without presenting it as a complete working gallows.
The model focuses on aged timber. Splintered planks, deep grain in the supporting beams and broken steps give the platform a worn appearance, while standing and fractured posts create an uneven outline above it. Those details can make the ruin a recognisable point within a square or a neglected edge of town.
The set contains one ruined gallows model, intended for 28–32 mm miniature settings. Its open arrangement allows miniatures to be positioned above or below the platform where the model and scenario permit. You might use it as a landmark along a route, a location to investigate or a reminder of an abandoned settlement’s history. Establish access and any cover effects through the rules chosen by the players.
Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the gallows invites a timber-focused finish. Greyed boards can suggest exposure, while darker supports and lighter splintered edges will separate the different surfaces. Concentrating dirt or vegetation around the lower structure can reinforce the sense that the platform has remained unused for some time.
