Goblin grotto shack tower terrain raises a timber dwelling above a base with rocky and organic-looking forms. Overlapping volumes and an irregular roof give the construction a recognisable outline. The building can belong to a goblin settlement or become the residence of a particular creature within your fantasy campaign.

The main photograph shows the complete tower painted within a fantastic landscape. Mushrooms, surrounding terrain and other objects beside the structure are used to establish the scene and are not included. The reference allows the overall shape to be examined before you decide how it will fit among your own grotto scenery.

Consider how visitors approach the residence and why the characters have come. A meeting with an inhabitant can use the same building as a search for a place previously known only through rumours. Keep relevant miniature areas accessible, and decide movement, cover and sightline effects according to the game system and objectives you choose.

The tower comes unpainted, ready to prime and paint, in 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm; 28 mm is selected initially. Boards, small architectural details and the varied base offer surfaces for contrasting colours. Darker recesses can separate the stacked forms, while a common grotto palette will connect the unusual home with the rest of the subterranean settlement.
