Goblin Grotto lantern cluster terrain gives a fantasy location a small but recognisable landmark. The Lantern Cluster belongs to Goblin Grotto, with a recorded height of 70 mm. It can mark an entrance to a grotto, the meeting place of a band or a corner that characters have been asked to investigate.
Its role is decorative and narrative, allowing a setting to feel occupied without adding another large building. Place the cluster near other smaller terrain from your collection to identify a particular destination. A campaign can give that spot a history, making the lanterns a familiar reference when the group returns.
Decide what the nearby space represents for the encounter and which miniature positions players need to reach. The presence of represented lanterns does not prescribe lighting rules or a functioning illumination system. Resolve movement, cover and visibility through the game you use, with the scenario explaining why the characters are drawn to the location.
The default scale is 28 mm, with 10, 15, 20, 32 and 35 mm also available. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the model can take colours that distinguish the lantern group from the surrounding rock or structures. Warm represented light effects, darker recesses and selective highlights are possible painting choices, leaving the atmosphere of the finished grotto entirely in your hands.
