Odingard Viking great hall terrain combines stone walls and carved timber beneath stepped slate-style roofs. An upper watchtower with a balcony rises above the main building, giving the hall a distinctive position within the skyline of a northern fantasy settlement.

The structure separates into modular sections, while a hinged main door leads into an open interior for miniatures. Windows and the balcony articulate the tower above, with crossed beams and pronounced roof slopes carrying the Nordic character across the rest of the building.

A great hall can become the place where a campaign’s travellers are received, a meeting is held or the settlement gathers before an expedition. Its tower can also serve as a visual reference when arranging other homes around it. Decide which rooms and heights your encounter uses from the actual model, applying access and any elevated positions through the rules selected by your group.

The piece arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Separating the stone from the carved beams will make the structure’s materials clear, while a shared roof palette joins the stepped sections. Shading under the balcony and roof overhangs can reinforce their depth. Your own colour and weathering choices can suggest a maintained centre of community life or a hall that has endured a harsher period in the settlement’s history.
