Ulvheim two storey house terrain brings contrasting building materials into a medieval street. The ground floor is formed from dressed stone, with entrance steps leading to a rounded doorway. Above it, timber framing and plaster panels give the upper storey a lighter visual character, broken up by windows with diamond latticework.
A pitched roof of overlapping tiles finishes the building. Its projecting eaves and dormer add interest to the outline, especially when the house stands among neighbouring dwellings with different roof heights. Inside, textured floors and stairs connecting the levels continue the architectural theme beyond the façade.
The combination suits a rural village or a Gothic town where homes have grown around an established stone base. A campaign could use the house as a local resident’s address, a place to visit between journeys or a recognisable point along a street. Its purpose in an encounter can remain as simple or involved as your story requires, without assuming special rules for the model.
The PLA+ building is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Separate colours for masonry, plaster and timber will help distinguish the two storeys. A wash around the window lattice and highlights along the roof tiles can bring out the finer details. Choose a finish that belongs to your settlement, from well-kept walls to the subdued colours of a more weathered home.
