Elven portal with steps terrain combines an organic arch with a raised platform and stairway. Interwoven branches run through the structure and frame its opening, giving the model a connection with growing forms rather than the straight masonry of a conventional gateway. Painted photographs show the complete design from several angles.

The opening can represent a ceremonial entrance or a magical passage within your story. A fantasy forest, an ancient garden or an enclave of elven architecture can each give it a different context. Use its silhouette as a landmark, then decide what the characters believe lies beyond it before the encounter begins.

Miniatures, dice and surrounding presentation terrain are not included. When arranging the portal, keep the approach to the steps and the area used for miniatures accessible. Any movement through the opening or effects associated with its magical role should come from your campaign and chosen rules, not from an assumed mechanism in the model.

The portal is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, in 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm; 28 mm is the default. Different shades along the intertwined forms can separate the branches, while a coordinated platform finish can relate the architecture to nearby terrain. The painted examples offer ideas, leaving the atmosphere of the finished entrance to you.
