The piece arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Grilles, openings, rivets and supporting framework create a mix of recessed and exposed detail. Shading beneath the steps can reinforce their separation, while lighter edges on the railings help the route stand out. Rust effects or a cleaner metal finish can then establish whether this access serves an abandoned plant or an active installation.
