The photographs show oversized skulls, ribs, pits and bone structures that can form an unsettling area on a gaming table. Irregular shapes and separate bases allow the pieces to be distributed across different parts of the scene. The designer images show painted examples to suggest possible finishes; the product is supplied unpainted so that you can adapt it to your own setting.<\/p>\n
Use the pieces as part of a fantasy burial ground, an abandoned territory or the surroundings of a creature\u2019s lair. Group the elements together to create a central scene, or distribute them near paths and ruined buildings. Raised details provide opportunities to pick out bones in lighter colours and paint the ground in darker or earthy shades. Repeating selected colours across the bases keeps the set consistent even when you change the tabletop layout. Before playing, agree with the other participants which areas provide cover and how the individual pieces will work under your chosen rules. Decoration alone does not establish terrain effects. Consult the different views in the gallery when planning your painting and deciding how the group will fit with your existing scenery. Allow suitable gaps between pieces so that miniatures can move through the scene.<\/p>\n
